GTC Sample Portfolio: Adjustments to Hedge and Buying a Bit of Risk

As stated in the first article for the GTC Sample Portfolio, we’re keeping our quantitative processes private; but will share the moves we make on an actual portfolio. And please note our risk statement.

We went over this, this morning in the Member Area; as we made some adjustments to the GTC Sample Portfolio.

We dumped 60% of the SH position. So for the GTC Sample Portfolio with its 291 shares? We sold 175 of those shares at $12.26

We bought 15 shares of SPY at 510.04

We bought 22 shares of QQQ at 434.45

We bought 85 shares of TLT at 89.67

We bought 212 shares of SHY at 81.31

We are also dumped that SPY Put ratio at the current price.

We may have some option trades coming up, but we just wanted to put those positions on right at the moment …
