GTC Sample Portfolio: Busy Day to Kick off June, 2024

As stated in the first article for the GTC Sample Portfolio, we’re keeping our quantitative processes private; but will share the moves we make on an actual portfolio. And please note our risk statement. You can find the previous post for the GTC Sample Portfolio here.

We posted the adjustments in the Member Area earlier in the day … but so that it’s posted here.

First of all, keep in mind dividends keep flying in on the longer-term holds. In just the last few weeks, we’ve had $1.16 from COST, $3.28 from PCY, $1.77 from SPHD; and yesterday $4.54 from WFC and $3.76 from KR. And speaking of the longer-term holds? We bought 6 shares of Medtronic (MDT) at $82.979 to open a position there.

I had a very small day-trade earlier in the day, and that turned out to be a small scratch. Just a 0.03 bounce in SH from 11.97 to 11.94; a scratch with only 100 shares.

We then sold 1 Jun 28, 2024 PLTR 1950 Put for 0.19. One, per $50k.

We sold 1 Jun 28, 2024 UNG 16 Put for 0.24. One, per $50k

We sold 1 June 28, 2024 IWM 214/217 Call Spread for 0.24. One, per $50k

We sold 1 Jun 28, 2024 USO 65 Put at 0.38. One, per $50k.

Stay safe and trade well …
