GTC Sample Portfolio: Trade Update

As stated in the first article for the GTC Sample Portfolio, we’re keeping our quantitative processes private, but will share the moves we make on an actual portfolio. And please note our risk statement.

As mentioned on the X / Twitter stream, the SPY premium we sold is at a solid profit. While we could let the position run until expiration? I will cut it here, and buy back the position of 0.01, for more than a 98% profit. No sense in having a position with gamma risk out there, this week of all weeks.

We are still long SH at $13.54. As stated, at this point I see no reason to either add to that position, or remove it. When I look over the state of Equities through our processes? We’re still “pre-flop” so to speak. Interesting data is on the way this week so we will see where we land.

The page containing the grid, results and metrics has been updated. This portfolio is still new, so there is not a lot there. We know, we know. There have not been a lot of trades.

We will just to continue to grind everything out, and move forward.
