“Read the Report”: “All Time Highs”, FURU ‘Predictions’ and the PARA Trade (PREVIEW)

I’ve been meaning to get to my discussions regarding “Stock Market Bubbles” and our approach to both defining them, laying a gamble, portfolio adjustments, and trading such ‘asset bubbles’.

We are going to get to that;; and I have begun to create the ‘outline’ of that discussion.

However, two things happened today, that I think we need to talk about.

1 ) We breached all-time highs in the S&P 500, and earlier in the X / Twitter stream I said:  “Yeah, we said seven months ago that could happen” or something to that effect (note the wording there, that is critical).  How does what we said there, differ from FURU types that try to claim a ‘prediction’?  Especially since we do not believe in predictions; since point in fact, NO one knows where the market is going?

2 ) What was the thought, behind closing down the PARA trade, where we had sold cash covered put premium to put buyers?  We made a profit on the trade … but why close it down early? Especially since i said there was “a” defense mechanism built into selling the premium cash covered?

This video entry, is a partial preview of the full “Read the Report” entry …

You can find the video as below on YouTubeand is available in many other video venues (Vimeo, Odysee, etc). The full entry regarding the nuances of such trading can be found here
